I have tried to keep it easy to navigate and more importantly keep it relevant. In the section titled Informed Buyer/Seller there is useful information for everyone and it is updated every month. Come back often as I try to keep good information coming. The links were chosen to fill out the picture of the Comox Valley here on Vancouver Island. Check them out and you will see why it is the ideal place to live, to raise a family, to retire, or get away from the rat race. The valley is made up of three distinct communities. Courtenay is the urban hub with a great downtown full of trendy shops and restaurants. Comox is a more laid-back sea side town with a bustling marina, beaches, and a Fisherman’s Warf where you can buy the catch of the day. Lastly, Cumberland is an historic coal mining town which is coming alive again with funky shops and cafes. All three communities have a strong arts and music scene and host a variety of arts and music festivals throughout the year. With the outlying farms, dairies, orchards, and vineyards the Comox Valley is fast becoming a mecca for foodies as well. If your tastes run more to sport you won’t be disappointed. Not only do we have one of the best ski hills in the province, Mt Washington, but we have a number of golf courses including the golf community of Crown Isle. Where else can you ski and golf or ski and kayak in the same day. If you are more into solitary sport there is plenty of hiking, biking, and sailing. I often say that I am selling life style as much as real estate.
